Stage 1 · Hard gates
Rules, not AI.
A role is dropped outright for the deal-breakers you set: wrong location or work type, titles you excluded, clearance requirements, stale listings. These are deterministic rules from your preferences — so every rejection is explainable, never a mystery.
Stage 2 · Weighted score
Everything that survives gets a 0–100.
Title match against your target roles, required- and preferred-keyword hits, a specialty bonus for exact-title matches, penalties for negative keywords and missing must-haves, and a seniority multiplier — so a “Director of X” doesn't outrank the “X” you actually want.
